Acceptable Use Policy

The Panel reviews products and pitches. These are the rules for what goes in and how what comes out may be used.

Effective: 19 September 2026. This policy forms part of the Terms of Service.

Who may use it

The Panel is for adults aged 18 and over. Do not create an account if you are under 18, and do not create one for someone who is. One person, one account: do not create extra accounts or share an account to get around the usage limits.

What you submit

Submit products, websites, ideas and pitches that you own, work on, or have a legitimate reason to review. Do not submit material that:

  • is illegal, or promotes or facilitates illegal activity, fraud or scams;
  • sexualises or endangers children in any way;
  • is sexually explicit, or promotes violence, self-harm, terrorism or hatred of a group of people;
  • infringes someone else's copyright, trade mark, confidence or other rights;
  • you are not free to disclose to third-party AI providers, for example material covered by a confidentiality agreement or an employer's policy;
  • contains malware, or a website address chosen to attack, probe or overload the site it points to.

A website address must point to public pages. Do not use The Panel to reach pages behind a login, a paywall or an internal network.

People and personal data

The Panel reviews products, not people. Do not use it to assess, profile, rank or investigate an individual, including for hiring, lending, insurance, housing or any other decision about a person. Do not submit other people's personal data unless you are entitled to and it is needed for the review, and do not submit sensitive personal information at all, such as health details, beliefs, sexual orientation, biometric data or criminal records. If you dictate a pitch, make sure anyone else who may be heard knows that the recording is sent for transcription.

Using the output

The personas are simulated, and their reviews are AI-generated. When you use or share a report:

  • do not present a persona as a real person, or a persona's verdict as a real customer testimonial, endorsement, review or expression of investor interest;
  • do not use Pitch Room output to suggest to anyone that a real investor or firm has assessed, backed or valued your company;
  • do not pass the output off as professional, legal, financial or investment advice, or as research conducted with real people;
  • do not use the output to deceive, defame or harass anyone, including a competitor named in a report.

Respecting the service

  • Do not try to extract, override or tamper with the personas' instructions, or to make the service produce content unrelated to reviewing a product or a pitch.
  • Do not use The Panel as a general-purpose gateway to the AI models or the crawler behind it.
  • Do not automate access, scrape the site, call the routes behind the tools directly, or get around the sign-in or the usage limits.
  • Do not probe or test the security of the service without our written permission.
  • Do not use the service, its personas or its output to build or train a competing product or an AI model.

Enforcement and reports

If you break this policy we may block a request, limit your use, or suspend or close your account, as the Terms of Service describe. Our AI providers also apply their own usage policies and may refuse or flag a request. If we close your account you can ask us to reconsider, and a person will look at it.
